I've found a drip, drip, leak above and outboard of my water pressure pumps near the accumulator back under the lazerette. The drip causes the pump to activate about every 10 minutes. While I found the general area of the leak I can not pin point the exact leak........assume it must be a fitting- but- actually can't see/get at it due to the location. To say it's a little tight in there is an understatement ! I can clear the deck where the oil changer typically is (I mounted mine vertically to free up that deck for a needed 8D battery which I can remove) - but- it looks like the exhaust must be removed to get back up to the problem (?) correct? I'm out cruising and won't be back home for 6-8 weeks. I was hoping to pick someone's brain about my problem while I was cruising (so I could act like I knew what I was talking about when I find some one at home (hopefully a small person with a long neck and 38" arms) to tackle the project. I now turn off the pressure pumps when we go down for the night to keep the pumps from running. I'm sorry about running this all together....I can't figure out how to make paragraphs with this computer. Thanks, Bud

On my boat, the HWH is very close to the pump/accumulator. How are those lines routed? The other item that is "close" is the transom shower (starboard side of transom?). Also, I believe you can remove a panel in the transom locker to gain some "access", although on this boat the ER is tough to say the least.

I had the same issue last year. It was the accumulator tank leaking at the seam. The original was a metal and the replacement was plastic with slightly different mounts. It's difficult to reach but can be done without removing exhaust.

Have a great trip!
