My son and I are at the cabin for the weekend. Yesterday we were cruising along about 30 mph. In the fishing boat. It has a 5 year old 150hp Mercury 4 stroke. All of a sudden the engine threw a rod through the side of the engine. Oil was spraying everywhere. That engine has been well maintained it’s whole life. Fucking junk!! Meanwhile the row boat has a 1968 Evinrude that’s been used and abused still runs like a charm.
