I,m in the middle of an oil change where I just sucked out about 2.7 liters of oil and that's all I can get.... The weird thing is that it was reading above full on the Dipstick.
My boat has had a repower with a vortec v6 and I wonder if the previous owner transferred or mixed up the dipsticks?
The service manual says it should take 4.3 liters with filter.
Can somebody please measure their Dipstick ( the one on their boat ):grin: and give me a measurement from the handle base to the top of the full hatching and the total length?
Mine measures 24.750" to the full and 27.250" total. It has no p/n's so I can't check that. Just a yellow ball type handle.
Has anyone struck this before?
