There was a 390MY hard on the rocks with the current going west at 13:00 today. Tow Boat US had a stern line on her and not even budging. It needed to be pulled up current to get off the rocks. Twin 250HP outboards vs. a 27,000 MY taking on water? You could see her actually up high and listing. There were at least 4 Coast Guard boats standing by with lights flashing. I can't believe the Tow Boat was able to get to her and not ground itself. That is going to be some insurance claim.

Very sorry to hear this...... Good luck with your insurance company, mine tried to screw me every chance they got with my previous boat and insurance carrier....

Mark - were you on Lake Washington today for Seafair? I'm sure I saw Lina Lina today - either on the lake or at Elliott Bay Marina.

Tough area if you do not follow your charts and/or understand that red right return may not apply coming from buzzards bay/canal.......I hear stories like this every year and it is not only from sailboats, powerboats, but mega yachts

I went thru Woods Hole yesterday at around 12:15PM. I must have just missed that from happening. It was really busy going thru....a lot of traffic.

That is a tough area if you don't follow the charts and markers exactly.
