I'm considering to install an inverter on my 390DA. Have searched the forum and found numerous discussions. I didn't find any specific to a 390DA config and while the fundamental electrical principles apply regardless of the boat...I'm very interested to learn from those that had it done on their 390.

Tom, I have the same boat. What scenarios are you looking at that would require an inverter?

Basically to run the two TV's and microwave while on the hook without having to fire up the genny. The fridges already have their own inverters and I suppose I could carry on with that philosophy and install one inverter for the main salon TV & Microwave by tapping into the 12V DC feed in the cabinet under the microwave. The TV in master Stateroom ....not sure where there is a DC feed there.

In lieu of the above, I was thinking about a wholesale upgrade to the system and installing a charger/inverter system....recognizing its a wholesale cost difference as well! Curious to hear what others may have done. Did you reconfigure anything?
