390DA Engine Room Vents

Has anyone found a good replacement for the stock ER grill vents on the 390DA or 400DA? Although the vents are hidden from eyesight, I'm looking for something that has sufficient free area to allow adequate airflow to the engines but also are configured to minimize (1) potential water ingress from these openings and (2) general ER sound reduction.

The stock grill vents are also a bit flimsy IMO.

Hey Tom-
I agree with you completely! I'm needing to replace both vents on my 460 and have no idea where to look. I have called Flounder Pounder and checked on Ebay. I was not successful in either place. I may end up having a metal fabricator make one out of stainless steel.

Dig deeper in the official 390 / 40DA thread and you will find where our member Escapade installed water difusers in the vent area. I have installed the same but don't have the information available. Mike has it in that thread.
