I would like to correspond with anyone about the 390 MY. Any comments, etc. would be most interesting!
Thanks,

Welcome to the board G. Sorry to say I am not aware of anyone on the board who has a 390 or 490 MY. They are very nice yachts from what I have seen.

gtrous, I do not own a 390 MY and have never run one, so my comments are purely seoncd hand from friends who own one.

Interior is well laid out and fairly functional. Washer dryer combo is under the stairs going forward to the forward stateroom/galley area, so that makes for a rather awkward arrangement.

Our friend's boat has 8.1s, and it is thirsty and slow. When gas spiked to $3.50 gallon they quit running it long distances. That is purely personal preference, of course, but depending on your intended usage I think this boat screams out for diesel torque.

I know a guy who runs one also, everytime he passes a tanker freighter he makes a comment on how there's his next GAS fill-up. The boat is very nice on the inside with lots of room but if you want to cruise alot-you will be disapointed with the range IMO.

Welcome Aboard  . Post some pics of your boat in the virtual marina :smt024 .

Sorry for the extended delay! I was buying/using my new toy!
Yes, there were a few items that had to be repaired, but they're mostly done and the boat is a dream come true. Great ride and First Mate is very happy about the interior. Helm A/C is very welcome down here in Louisiana.
Went to Destin, FL for a month. Baytowne Marina is a hoot!
Our guests claimed the forward bunk bed is comfortable...
I would highly recommend a very close look at this Make/model.
Good boating!
