390 & 40 MY Owners - screw cover part#?

Last weekend I noticed that one of the white covers on the headliner above the front windshield was missing. I looked in the parts manual and it does not show that part.

The part I am referring to is above the front windshield. There is a white padded liner and to hold the liner in place are some screws. the screws have a white cap that covers them up.
Does anyone know the SR part # for those white covers?

Not sure if this will help you but it looks like all of the windshield parts come from Taylor and not shown below. Could it be the snap studs?

I found my replacement screw covers at my local hardware store....

dcharna - what page of the parts manual did you find that? Yes could be the snap stud. they are a white plastic cover over the screw head.

bill collector - thanks had not considered that as an option.

Bottom of page 8. I think it is part of the windshield assembly not the hardtop.

If you are talking about the "PHILLIP TAP-CAPS" that are in the link AKBASSKING posted, you can indeed get them at many local hardware stores. MM

Go to a big box boat store. They sell them packaged in plastic bags with different colors.

My ACE Hardware has screw caps in various colors. They keep them in the specialty parts drawer in the aisle with all the nuts and bolts.
