You will noticed that I said there is no room forward of the v-berth. I stand by that. These pix appear to show an oversized genny in the space formerly designed as a berth. 26 foot SRs of that era had an alcohol/electric stove, a small stereo and a battery charger. A shore power cord was used to keep the battery(s) charged. A 6kw genny is big enough to power a small house during an emergency. Your boat had no options that would justify a generator of any size let alone a 6kw. Also the location of gennys are in enclosed areas to mitigate the CO danger. That usually means the engine room. I suspect you probably know all of this already and are just tolling the forum. As an aside, no insurance company would insure a vessel in this condition unless coverage was underwritten without a survey. The fine print would likely allow the company to refuse payment of a claim should one be filed. Is this boat insured?Hi
I posted some photos in a later thread.
