After a recent pounding on Lake Erie, the cabin door on our 1999 380DA is a hot mess inside the pocket. Not only off the track, but the track itself has come off - I can see it hanging in the opening, but it's off all the way into the pocket. I almost couldn't get the door open (it's heavy) and now it's stuck and strapped in place. And Momma wants her privacy door back.

Does anyone have the foggiest idea how to get into the mechanism? All I can see is tearing apart upholstery and other "really impossible to put back" options.

Oh man, wish I could help here. As much as once pulled apart and put back together on mine,I have yet to dig into this mechanism

OK, for anyone in this predicament in the future .... I was able to get the door back to about 85% of perfect.

You can remove a bunch of molding strips and peel back some upholstery to get the #1 panel off which exposes the track in the doorway opening, and a little bit into the cavity.

When trying to access panel #2, I discovered that it was fiberglassed into place after it was installed. So there is no way of getting to the mechanism without a sawzall or other barbaric approach. So with adding a number of extra screws to the track in section #1, all heavier duty, the majority of the rail is in place. It drops a bit when inside the pocket, but it slides open and closed pretty well with a little bit of wrangling..... not unlike every sliding door I've ever had on my house deck LOL.

Oh holy crap, I thought you were talking about the main door down into the cabin. Still, I definitely wouldn't have been able to help here. Sounds sucky.
