Still on the search for a new to me DA and have been looking at the 410s. It seems they either have 480s on shafts or 380s with zeus. Anyone have any info or experience regarding performance and cruise on the two? I'm looking for a comp... I want 480s with zeus but it looks like I need to compromise.

Shaft Drive's are far simpler and less expensive to repair and maintain.

The compromise is in fuel economy and close quarters handling (debatable with dual thrusters).

I have heard of a number of horror stories where Cummins points the finger at Merc and Merc points the finger at Cummins when there is a Drive/Engine issue.

I had both a vdrive and a zeus boat and have lived the finger pointing - however the issue was solved and relatively stress free. My specific question is in regards to the actual performance of the boat: What does a 380 zeus cruise at and what is the range? How does that compare to a 480 shaft?
