Finally.........got my upgrade almost complete !!!

Once I removed the old TV/VCR....I had that ugly hole.......so I had a piece made out of starboard to match the mica.....with a recessed box to house my Direct TV box.....I used a white 19" Toshiba LCD/DVD TV.......I did the same in the forward berth....that box will be for the remote and storage

Just need to hang the TV in the F/ berth....and its done !

That's a great job. I was doing to do something similar but i never liked where the tv was located. My wife sits on the couch and i sit on the stairs, not very comfortable. What do you do for seating ?

Well.....It depends where we decide to watch the tube.........in the forward berth.....we lay on the bed.......in the salon....we do use the sofa....with the slide door ( between the aft cabin and salon ) open and pillows up against it.....and if we're out in the cockpit....we use the " U " seating ( with the table set up ).

I had them made at a local marine plastics fabrication shop. The guy has done a few projects for me over the years.....and does great work !
