looking at my first sea ray, a 36 sundancer 2005. Looking for comments on this boat

Welcome aboard.

I don't have any experience operating a 360 Sundancer, but I've ran a 400 Sundancer before. Great boat, for sure. What propulsion are you interested in? Is this your first boat, or do you have prior boating experience?

Also, for future reference, only post once! People will come across your post , don't worry!

The 360 was not as a popular of a boat as the 340. But there are some nice features about the 360. It is in the Yacht classification with Sea Ray so you get some nicer finishes and such on the 360 over a 340. It is a nice boat - but not near as popular as the 340.

What can I other say than this is a great boat.
I have a 360 with diesels, and I love it every day.
The 21 degree deadrise is like the steepest in the Sundancer series and gives it a great ride in the slop.
The boat is comfortable and stable underway.
It's a lot more than a 340 and somewhat less than a 380.
This boat drives and handle like a sports car.
Good layout and what I think is the best 360 property, she stays horizontal, even when you are at cruise speed at 20 knots.
Top speed with diesel engines is around 34 knots.
Also the 360 bilge room is big enough to move around the engines.
The 360 has a very nice design, and has plenty of room.
separate fridge and freezer, a "real" mattress...and the shower with the acrylic enclosure.
I also like the fact the master stateroom has a door.

In the USA it's seems that it isn't a popular model because the size, that is too big to economically handle with a forklift and store in dry stack storage.

Success Peter

I agree with the 360 being a great boat. I have one sitting four slips down the row in my marina. I have often been on it and we have often compared our boats. Our conclusion was: The 360 is a little more than our 340, but a lot less than a 380DA. It is really closer in space and feel to the 340 than the 380. I would always go for the 380 and actually regret we didn't do it. The 380 has the big galley and a separate shower stall and so much more interior space than the 340 or 360 that it would be no brainer for me.
