Took my new 360 on a coastal trip from Sydney to Port hacking about 25K Miles. On the way up encounted 1.5M seas (4.5ft) cruised at 22-24Kn very smooth. On the way back 2-2.5M seas not unusuall for east coast Australia could only manage 17Kn wiithouting banging or pounding. I am very pleased with the off shore performance. The weight and Diesel makes the difference
Posted this just to help other potential 360 buyers. Diesel is the way to go for extended cruising

25K miles like in 25,000 miles? Wow... that's more than circumventing the globe....

Apologies I meant nautical mile ie Kn not K mile. In Auatralia we always say things differently to the rest of the worlds

Travelling offshore at 20-21Knots about 60 - 65L/engine at about 2400 RPM. The boat has 380 QSB and 25 x 25 props. This is not very economical but is hard work in a head sea. Just ploding about on the harbour at 8 Knots I would get 8L/engine very econimical. Hope this helps

there's a silent "K" in nautical?

every time i take this boat for a spin i WISH i had diesels!

I dont get it Knot is a measure of speed nautical mile per hour. There is no silent K not even in Australia where everything is upside down and down under.

fitz:
i wasnt sure. seagull above came up with KNAUTICAL MILE and i missed your correction just below that. i was thinking maybe there was a different spelling overseas (the brits spell it "theatre" and we spell it "theater," etc.
