350 mag br dts mpi Timing

Boat is still in the barn too far away, but dreaming of getting in the water soon. I have a 2010 Sea ray DB with the OEM 350 MAG BR DTS MPI engine. Got to thinking about spring tune up. I'm going to put new plugs in and then i started thinking about timing. (Cylinders have been misfiring per a recent mechanical report) Post that report last summer I had the mechanic install a new distributor cap and rotor, cause as I age I'm all about outsourcing.......Anyone know if this engine's timing can be done with a timing light and rotating the distributor? Or can it be done through my techmate pro? Or is it all electronically controlled?

electronically controlled, you get it close and it does the rest. Unless the distributor was disturbed it's not your problem
