350 Horizon MPI NMEA Compliant

I have a 2000 Searay 310 DA with 350 MPI Horizons. Would these engines be NMEA compliant such that either Smartcraft or other engine monitoring electronics would work?

I just noticed your thread. I had the same question myself. I called Merc, and was told that in order to be Smartcraft capable, you need to have engines with SN af OM300000 or above. (I may have the number wrong but I think I'm close to what he said).

I have the OLxxxxxxx series and he told me that was one generation before Smartcraft capable.
