Just came back from a full moon cruise, had a 27 Larson and a 25 Cooper trying to catch my 350 Sundancer back to the marina and they could not do it. I was at 30 mph and 3200 rpm.

I have a SRV255, (which is 25.5 or so at the waterline and 27 feet long overall), which is a sedan cruiser with one 454, and it maxes out at about 25 knots, for what that's worth to you.. On perfect water etc, which we never have, it might go a little higher.

bottom/prop fouling?
What RPM you getting out of the engines when you're doing 24kts?
Prop damage?

You need to provide more data? What is your cruising RPM? What is wide open RPM? When was the boat last hauled? What size/pitch props? Trans gear reduction? Sorry to bombard you with these questions, but we need this info to help....

The I/O Bravo II set up would be quite a bit faster than the EC with inboards. Still, that does seem slow if you are talking 24 knots, really slow if you are saying 24mph.

I don't know a lot of these answers , the boat is coming out next Saturday in Michigan but didn't want tobe disappointed all winter, I know it's a heavy boat and it was 24.1 on gps , the starboard engine also the rpm isn't working. I just want to be assured that I can go faster in the spring , ya I know it's gonna cost

A good cruising friend just sold the same boat on Lake Erie. 1990 35 express 454's. It would cruise all day at 24mph and top out around 33mph.

Bought my 370 new in 1994. It is the same boat as a 350. 454s with 330HP. Speed depended on weight and wave conditions. In calm water with full fuel and water it cruised at 22 knots at 3450 RPMs. Props were Prop Scanned and bottom was alway fresh. On a long run of 5 plus hours I would pull the power back to maintain the RPMs at 3450. By the time I reached my port, the boat would easily do 26-28 knots if water conditions were still favorable.
