340DA windshield glass & Metal

Had a big snow at Lake Cumberland in KY a few weeks ago, and had a marina roof collapse onto my 2001 340. Among other broken and banged-up things, the windshield (not just part, but all) is smashed. And, I understand that Taylor Made is backed up and it might be several months to get replacements installed.
Anyone have any experience in having replacement windshields?

Have you gotten a price for glass and frame last time i herd a price it was $22000.00 Call your insurance company and get them to repair it or total boat.

Ohhhhh, sorry to hear about this. I can't offer any solutions, but wish to pass along my condolences. It is going to be a very expensive fix, if it can be done at all. There have been boats in the past (340 types) that have been totalled out simply because of a broken windshield frame and/or radar arch. Hope you are able to find a reasonable fix.

And.... There are lots of damaged boats at that lake. Fortunately I have good insurance.
Unfortunately, I might lose much of the season.
