Great site! this is my first post and more than likely not my last. I just purchaced a wabasto diesel heater at the boat show. It's a DYI kit and looks simple enough when you look at the instructions, the hard part is when you look at where it will be installed (behind the helm seat under the curved bench seat) and all of the 3 inch diameter holes that have to be cut from the cockpit to the forward locker, not to mention the big hole in the dash to point hot air towards the window as the salesman strongly suggested I do!
Has anyone taken on this project? I have asked around and have been quoted $1800.00 to $2500.00 depending on what sort of fuel tank I go with.
