:?: this is bubba i purchased my first searay about a month ago i was wondering if anyone knew where i can get a breakdown on the boat plans that would show where the fresh water tank is located i think it is under the aft cabin but i'm not shore also where the forward bilge pump is located any help is good help thanks

Water Tank

Hi Bubba, I have a 1988 340DA, same boat as yours. The 51 Gallon Water tank is located under you kitchen table and seats. Water pump and filter are located under the steps. The whole step unit is removeable. remove the screws, and the door to the electric panel, then the steps lift straight up and out.
Under the aft cabin are your fuel tanks, stbd 82 gal, port 90 gal. 172 gal capacity.
The forward bilge pump is located under the depression in the floor where you enter the aft cabin. Lift the rug in the depression, to the left is a round access cover, remove and you will see the bilge pump. It also acts as the shower drain, and the condensate drain for both evaporator coils for your HVAC system.
Behind the mirror above the shelve in the aft cabin is the Sanitation Vent Filter for your holding tank. I 've been snooping around my boat for 4 years, I think I've found everything. If your interested, I have done modifications to enhance performance and fuel consumption. Good Luck
