340 sundancer behind transom door storage box?

My friend has an 03 and behind his transom door he has a small storage locker perfect for cleaning supplies. I have an 06 and mine does not have this. Has anyone tried adding it?

The box you describe was omitted on some 340's because of the rod holders that were installed on some boats. As long as you do not have anything in the way you should be able to order the parts from your Sea Ray dealer and install yourself.

Looks just like this only about 6-8 inches deep and obviously no toilet paper holder. I just happened to ask what the access cover was for and he took me over to his boat and showed me his storage cabinet. Its a great little cabinet.
