340 Engine hatch

Hi everyone, Bought an 03 340 a week ago and have been doing lots of maintenance. When I bought the boat I new it was going to need hatch actuators do to the terrible grinding noise. Anyway my new actuators will be here tomorrow and now the hatch won’t move at all. Any ideas how to lift the hatch?

Open the access port on the hatch (round hole near the middle)...remove the bolt from the cylinder pin and open it manually.. It works better with a helper.

one access hole is by the starboard walkway door and the other is under the rear port seat. Good luck and be careful. It's heavy as hell..
