OK, on my 340 Dancer I have the antenna system and a cable hook up on the transom. At the marina I hooked up to the marina cable system but didn't get any channels except for 2 analog channels. I was wondering if there is an there an "A/B" switch hidden somewhere that I need to use to select the transom input?

Turn the Glomex antenna amplifier off when connected to shore cable. In my 300DA its in a port side floor level cabinet under the v-berth. If that doesn't work, there should be a "T" that tees together the two sources (shore cable and Glomex) somewhere behind the portside cabinetry. On mine the Glomex signal was unscrewed from the "T" and I had to screw it back in. I found that "T" behind the false panel under the galley sink.

Just isolated that the stern coaxial connector has a "high impedance air gap" somewhere. If I run a cable from the power pedestal directly to the TV or to the connector in the helm the TV works fine. Plugged into the back of the boat doesn't work though. Any thoughts on where to look next?

I had this issue on a previous boat and the quality of the splitter used was marginal. I found the splitter behind the glomex antennae gain control module.

You're bypassing everything when you do this. It still could be nothing more than your air antenna amplifier needs to be turned off when connected to shore cable. This is explained clearly in the owners manual (Options & Accessories section) that came with my boat. If you have your manual, see what it says about it.

I had previously turned off the Glomex, that's when I originally got 2 channels. 4 way splitter on the wall behind the TV. One side was marked "amplifier", the other side had a feed to the TV, one marked "rear deck" and "helm". All tightly connected to the splitter.
First I retried scanning channels after checking all connections. No joy.
Then I ran the existing cable (by luck the new cable I already had running to the boat was 50') directly to the TV... Voila! Immediately got 38 channels scanned.
Then tested the cable by reconnecting the TV to the system and running the dock feed to the helm. Voila. The TV worked fine. Took the cable and reconnected it to the stern connection. No joy...
So either that feed cable is bad, the stern connector is bad, or there is an A/B switch inline on that feed... Something is wrong there.

There is a switch somewhere, mine is in the cabinet over the sofa. It has a "ship" and "shore" button (switches from antenna to cable hook up), and the amplifier gain control.

I have the Glomax on my 340 Sundancer and was only getting a couple of local channels. Having read this thread and a couple of others on this forum I decided to check the connections. I removed the white Glomax dome and to my surprise discovered that the antenna cable was not connected. With the help of some long-nosed pliers I was able to retrieve the connector and reconnect it to the antenna cable. Using the same pliers I then reconnected it to the Glomax dome. I now get all the local channels in HD.
Thanks to all who post in this forum...this is an excellent source of information and helpful tips.

I found the problem!

Unscrewed the Glomex control from the wall. Found the connector on the back from stern was extremely loose. Tightened it up and voila! It works. Reinstalled the Glomex control and all is good!

Thanks for all the help!
