34 foot sea ray fly bridge sedan, what is it year 1984

AD indicates it is a 34' Sea Ray Fly Bridge Sedan. Looks like the 340 Sedan Bridge but an early one since year is 1984. The power boat guide indicates the popular 350HP gas was used and is listed as V-drive. The subject boat is diesel powered and the broker says straight drive. Is there room to repower with diesel and go straight drive or is the broker misinformed? Thanks

My 1983 34-ft Sedan Bridge is straight drives. Never seen one with v-drives........ Every single one I have seen has straight drives... I do not believe that is even an option, or possible. Sounds like the broker is misinformed. I know it was an option on the Express Cruisers, but not the sedan bridges, as far as I know.

Yes, diesels are possible, but a lot of work.....
