Pretty much all the work on my boat gets done by the marina. I'm hoping to change that next season by doing my own oil changes and some other things like fuel/water separators. Can anyone tell me where they are on a 2008 330DA? I see what looks very simlar to an oil filter almost attached to the starboard gas tank but I don't see the same thing on the port side. Thanks!!

That large filter you see is probably the generator filter. Your engines have cool fuel modules on each engine on the lower right side at the front. In each module is a filter (they run about $40.00 each). You should look at your Mercruiser service manual on how to replace the filters (not very difficult).

John is correct on both counts-that large filter on the starboard tank is the genny fuel filter. My marina changes out the fuel filters when they do the winterization, not sure what they charge for that, because it's part of their package pricing to winterize the engines, replace the oil/oil filters, and fuel filters. They charge $375, for each 8.1 engine.

Thank you both!!! I'll take a look for them this weekend and report back!!
