Ideas on oil or fuel ( notsure which) coming out in the exhaust? When I check the oil by dipstick it is not milky. I want to get a diagnosis done and not get taken.

Check all heat exhchangers....special attention to theTransmission heat exchanger.....

If fuel it is likely a bad injector, might show up in oil analysis as fuel dilution. If oil and the engine is turbo charged it may be a seal in the turbo. If you pull off the air end of the turbo and there is oil in the housing that would indicate a failed seal & a rebuild needed before the turbo flys apart and pieces go into the cylinders.

Check the fluid level and color in the transmission. The transmission oil cooler is sea water cooled and a leak will expell transmission oil in the exhaust.

Ditto.
The engine oil cooler is is on the jacket side so is not a suspect here.

You didn't say how long you've owned the boat, so just in case it's new to you, I always have a "sheen" on the water from unburned fuel (incomplete combustion)after a cold start until the engines get to temp...

Thanks, I have had it for 3 and a half years. I am familiar with what your saying aobut the fuel, but I dont think that is it. I was letting them run at idle and the guys at the marina noticed it. I will check the trans fluid.
