320 slowing down

while cruising the great south bay on sat i was moving along ,there seemed to be patches of eel grass all over the place would this slow my boat down 2-3 mph? i stopped and reversed back a little to try and clear it , but it happened a few more times is this possible?

Can you dive under the boat and see anything?

not really. could it have filled the props for a few moments before getting thrown out?

Happened to me last friday, the boat went from zoom to zim in a matter of secs i reversed the props and seemed to be ok:huh:
