Hi all...Countdown to Spring now!
I find the salon lighting on my 2004 320 is kinda depressing. Without spending a fortune anyone cure this? I would be happy to change out and/or add some fixtures?
Help please!

Swap them out for some LEDs, maybe look at some that are color changing ?

I added some fixtures under the bed pedestal, galley counter and behind the sofa. and switched all to soft white. Even swapped the ones in the flip down tv. Wired numerous ways to allow many configurations. Either a switch on the light or the wall switches by the steps.

Wow...very nice! That's what I'm thinking..Did you have to rip apart the interior to get the wires run?

I've previously had great results in simply changing the bulbs to a cooler white LED, 4000K, vs the warmer white that is stock.

I'd suggest you toy with color temperature of the lamps before you start adding fixtures. It's a $20 investment to start :)

I think I will....Unless Craig moves to upstate NY and he might show me how it's done!

Thanks All.

Most of mine are 3100k warm. They still look brighter than the stock incandescent which were 2700ish. The galley and head is 4500k. My old boat had 5000k for years and I just wanted a change. No right or wrong just what you like best. I went back to warm in the cockpit too from blue. I do have rgb in the arch with a remote. Red is nice at night.
