i follwed the manual in draining the water from my 6.2 engines with inboards. I closed both seacocks, used the pump, pressurized the system, and as indicated, water came out on the bottom of the engines. I loosened the blue drain plug where indicated to vent the system and no more water came out. Then i pulled the blue drain plug at the bottom of the engine and no more water caem out there either.
My question: How much water should have come out? It didnt seem like a ton but then again this is a closed cooling system. Im guessing maybe a gallon or 2? I just want to make sure i did it right since the boat is still in the water and we've had some really cold temps lately. Thanks for any help/ideas.
