320/340 Head - Overhead Storage - Mirror Door Question

On my new 07 - I noticed that the mirrored latches in the head - the actually catch inside the cabinet are rusting. I haven't taken them off yet or looked too closely. I am thinking the screws are rusting not the actual catches. Anyone else experienced this. We have taken a couple showers and the humidity is causing some rust. Just seeing if this is just me. I was probably going to replace the screws with Stainless Steel.

We have had plenty of use on our 320 with no rust issue there. This weekend we did find a fastener on our rub rail with a rust drool onto the fiberglass. I mentioned it to our local supplier today and he explained most of the S.S. and even brass are now made from recycling. He told me he has seen rejected "magnetic" brass.
I assume our dealer will give us a few to replace should the event arrise agian.
