I have a 2000 310SD in need of a upper cabin door track. Are the new replacements plastic or aluminum and does anybody know of a place to order them from? The price my local dealer quoted me has a little on the high side and they were not sure what the new one was made of.

The other concern I have is my beanch seat, next to the captains chair, has a loose back on it. I cant seem to find a way to tighten it down. Am I missing the obvious, has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks!

I replaced both the upper and lower tracks and the wheeled trucks on my cabin door last year. Got them from the Sea Ray dealer and they are still made of plastic. I don’t remember what I paid but I can till you they were not cheep. When I uncovered the boat for this year I noticed the upper track was split and I know it was not at the end of last year. I think it may have been broke during shrink rapping….just can’t prove it. I wish some one made ones out of aluminum. Can’t help with the seat back but it sounds like maybe the wood under the upholstery is starting to deteriorate.

Thanks Bill F. for the info. That had to have raised the blood pressure a little. When you replaced the tracks did you have any problems removing the cover that hides the doors when they are in the open position? Were you able to find matching caulk?

The cover was easy to remove, just cut the caulk and took out the screws. As for the caulk I used Bostik 960 SR sealant color zephyr the number on the tube is SR1736003. It was a perfect match.
