310 Sundancer Thread (2007 & newer)

Happy boating season!

Ok, so there what appears to be a compartment directly in front of the bed, on the floor - about 16" long an 10" deep. Normally covered by carpet savers. How does it open?

Mine has the stainless button pull (or whatever you call them)... just like the one for the shower sump. I am hesitant to put anything in there though because I found water in there at one time... not sure where it came from though.

That will be the compartment where your bow thruster is located, if equipped. Mine did not have a pull tab, and it was held down by 4 screws. (I'm assuming this is a safety feature in case there is a leak at the bow thruster?). I removed the screws to get to mine. Hope this helps. Mike

Anyone have 3 underwater lights installed ? How far below water line do you have them?

Thanks, I do not have a bow thruster so I'm assuming I have four screws. I can probably find them at the four corners as that is the only place a screw driver will fit. My attempts to gentle pry up caused me to stop and post this as it was not budging.

Definitely no pull button. I assume you have a bow thruster?

No bow thruster. Maybe we are not on the same page... the compartment I thought we were referring to is in the galley floor just forward of the shower sump access.

How can we find sheets to fit our 07 310 Sundancer. I read past posts and couldn't find my answer

I seem to recall that Sea Ray made them but they were outrageous... probably have them custom made allot cheaper. We just use a queen and tuck the excess up under.

I figured that was the case but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Thank you!

No, it's directly in front of the two cabinet doors below the aft bed. Normally covered by the carpet protector and really blends in well but you can see there's an opening.

I've tried to open this access panel before but can't find all the screws--they're buried deeply in the carpet or they rung the heads off of them completely.

I have three ocean led lights, I can't figure out how to post the pics.

Has anyone removed the galley /head exhaust fan? I searched and couldn't find any info on it.
Thanks Bryan

I located it, cabinet to the left of cabin door, remove panel in back of cabinet, also access to port railing nuts

Interesting...that's one of the few access panels I haven't opened yet. Knowing the fan is in there helps--thanks for posting.

Now, if someone can figure out how to pull the cabin door (to fix loose/stripped upper track glides) without removing the entire port side shroud to the left of the door, I'm all ears.

I know my door can't be the only one having issues...?

My pumpout fitting is 1.5" diameter with NPT threads (11.5 threads per inch).

If you're looking for the cam/groove (aka banjo valve) female fitting that mates with many dock's equipment, this is the one I have: http://www.banjovalves.com/1-12bppcamandgroovefitting.aspx.

It's also available at Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Banjo-Polypropylene-Groove-Fitting-Coupler/dp/B001GLUML4.

Stephen,

I have a 2007 310 DA and was also looking for something threaded that would fit in my pumpout and "mate" with the pumpout hose (for some reason, the standard valve doesn't fit on my boat, it's too big). So, are you saying this part you referenced (http://www.amazon.com/Banjo-Polypropylene-Groove-Fitting-Coupler/dp/B001GLUML4?tag=viglink21308-20) is the only part you need in order to connect the pumpout hose to the waste tank while the banjo valve is screwed into the side of the boat? would love to solve that problem! Thanks!

Since we are on the subject... My cap is tethered to the threaded fitting, so that would have to be cut out to use the fitting you guys are referring to. Our pumping station has the suction cup fitting and it works just fine on my boat. Our station is self-serve, no attendant.

I redesigned the tether so that the cap is fully removable using a slight tug. Unfortunately, the suction-based fittings at my facility always left waste dripping down the boat due to a "loose" seal--that's the main reason I went to the c/g fitting.

Nowadays, I pump out at home using the onboard discharge pump (rerouted to output to home septic tank).
