I bought a bottle of this stuff to coat the blue hull... I figured I have so much work and coatings this year another one can’t hurt... it goes over the wax and supposedly lasts a year. Anyone have any experience with it

Lot of reviews of it in the auto detailing forums I frequent. Gets decent reviews but they recommend no wax under it for longest life, clean surface.
Most seem to report it lasts 6 months for cars, but not much longer. My guess is shorter for a boat.
Use it and let us know.

Yes I read where you shouldn't put it over top of wax, rather, remove it 1st then apply.

I guess you can find anything you want on the internet but I have seen this answer over and over... regardless I am applying over the wax...if it wears off I still have 2 layers of wax left

I did the blue hull today below the rub rail with the 303 Graphene.. it took me three hours to do ...there were a couple beer breaks in there :) and met a really nice couple beside me ... It wasn’t easy getting the stuff off with microfiber cloths....and the cloths loaded up quick...went thru 5 cloths to finish... tomorrow I am going to try my orbital with a sponge pad and a micro fiber bonnet to see if that is any easier.. Didn’t use a lot of product... I have a lot more then half the bottle left. It does look good though...seems to make the blue a bit darker... I did a small area of the white and it looked really good.. need to see it out in the sun... but I am happy with it

First pic is reflection of boat beside me.

Just a heads up... I didn’t know this yesterday working on the dark blue with a black applicator but the product is black.. today I worked on some white and used a light blue applicator.... spraying what looks like black ink on a clean pad is a bit disheartening...then putting the black solution on a white hull does not feel right at all...it comes off but just different

I tested this product on my transom today and found similar results. Went on easy, the color is surprising and destroys your microfiber, then removal can be a challenge and really requires some elbow grease.

surface is very hydrophobic, more than my 3m waxed areas. We’ll see how it holds up!

I put a graphene coating on my boat this season, but not 303's.

It was this: https://yachte.co/shop-yachte/boat-care-products/graphene-glow-amphibious-spray-coating/

So far, I'm very satisfied with the results.

In fact, today, all I really needed to do was hose off the deck and sides to get rid of the dust that collected over the past week.

My boat's only been in the water a month, but the hydrophobic properties are still very much apparent (unlike waxes which, in my experience, seem to fade after the first real wash). Really hoping this holds for the next 2-3 months...then it will be well worth the investment.

This stuff is 4x what 303 charges????

I’ve had the transom coated for about 2 weeks now and I’m still happy with the result with really just one complaint - while plenty hydrophobic I’ve noticed the coating is certainly not “slick” to touch like a wax. It’s actually almost sticky if you run your hands over it

apparently that’s just part of the graphene properties as many reviews of it say the same thing. It sure looks nice though

Marine grade ceramic is better.
Xpel is best in business. High solids content for gelcoat. Guaranteed 4years.

PPF film is best. Guaranteed 10-years then ceramic coat on top.
