Ok I changed all of the hoses on the motor over the winter just to avoid this very problem.

After about a few weeks use I get a hose leak. Its the hose that runs from the water pump up to the thermo housing #32-89718-1 .
It turns out that I got a cut from the sea water pump pulley, which some how rubbed on the hose.
I did notice a small wobble in the pulley but it is not loose when checked by hand. so anyway I changed the hose.
Then just today the same exact thing happens again, this is a 50 dollar hose!
it is very tight in there with the fuel pump and the bracket for the sea water pump.
I know I had at least (sp) a 1/4" space between the hose and the pulley the last time I changed it. In fact I checked the other day and it was fine.
I am thinking that I need to change the sea water pump, thoughts?
Any one else have this problem? and how did you fix it? any work around? or retro fit?
the hose itself has a hell of a bend in it, almost 180*

anyones help would be great
Thanks
Scott

It sounds like you either have a bent pulley or shaft if the pulley is wobbling sooner or later you'll start throwing belts, you may want to check the mounting bracket they can bend with pressure from the tension on the belt or maybe some bolts are loose. I had a bent sea water bracket replaced several months ago.
