Ok I changed all of the hoses on the motor over the winter just to avoid this very problem.
After about a few weeks use I get a hose leak. Its the hose that runs from the water pump up to the thermo housing #32-89718-1 .
It turns out that I got a cut from the sea water pump pulley, which some how rubbed on the hose.
I did notice a small wobble in the pulley but it is not loose when checked by hand. so anyway I changed the hose.
Then just today the same exact thing happens again, this is a 50 dollar hose!
it is very tight in there with the fuel pump and the bracket for the sea water pump.
I know I had at least (sp) a 1/4" space between the hose and the pulley the last time I changed it. In fact I checked the other day and it was fine.
I am thinking that I need to change the sea water pump, thoughts?
Any one else have this problem? and how did you fix it? any work around? or retro fit?
the hose itself has a hell of a bend in it, almost 180*
anyones help would be great
Thanks
Scott
