Hi All,
First time Sea Ray owner and new to the forum....thank you.
So, I just bought a decent 2000 Sundancer 290 which needs a few little things to get ready to splash. The biggest issue is the sliding cabin door that is all sorts of broken. It appears as though there are NO roller trucks at all anymore. The door is just resting on the tracks.....I've done a bunch of research and it appears as though I can get all of the parts needed from Boat Outfitters....my big question is this, does this particular model use a lower "train" on this door? I have checked things over on the door fairly well and there is currently no train on the lower edge of the door....just the raw glass with some horizontal screw holes. The track appears to all be there and in good condition. So, I think i just need two upper and two lower rollers and possibly the lower door train. Can anyone tell me what size roller trucks I need? I see there are 3 different heights and since the originals are gone I have no way of knowing what height I need and/or if I need a lower train. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Rob. Do you have the parts book for your boat. I have a 1998 290 and now the 1999 is the same boat and parts

Hi Jeff,
Yes I do have the manual, but it doesn’t specify what height truck and it doesn’t list any train either.
UPDATE.....I went to the boat and did some investigating and low and behold I found part of the old train with one truck still attached that was way back inside under the helm. I fished it out and now I have the answers....I have an old truck to measure and the train is a center-set style.
Thanks all.
