290 Sundancer 1998 Fresh Water Holding Tank

Hi, I have a few questions regarding the fresh water holding tank. 1. I want to confirm it is mid-ship on the starboard side as I want to check for leaks. 2. If I need to remove it what is the process. Thanks

What tank are you talking about? Fresh water tank is usually taken to mean the drinking water tank, and the holding tank is the tank for holding toilet waste.

It is on the starboard side forward of your hot water heater. It would be a challenge to remove without pulling an engine I would think. You could cut it up, but getting a new one in wouldn’t be much fun. It may also be accessible from the aft cabin

If its leaking, you might consider a bladder/liner in the existing tank.
