290 Sun Sport questions (2006)

Guys, I searched but came up empty. Buddy of mine is drooling over a low hours (35 total) blue hull twin 350's 290 Sun Sport (2006). It is a temporary step for him while convincing his admiral to jump to a bigger cruiser. He thinks he can buy it right. It doesn't have a genset or AC, but it looks like it has just about everything else on SeaRay's list. In looking at the options list on searay.com, it appears you could get AC, but generators weren't offered. Frankly, if it can't be air conditioned, his admiral is not going to let the eagles fly.

Questions...any really happy or unhappy experiences?

Anyone have the 290 with AC? If so, where the heck did it fit? Ditto on the generator. Its not mine, so I am not emotionally involved and thus any responses would be appreciated, even the smarta** ones. :thumbsup:

What is the "Get it Right Price"? Does it have a trailer? Where has it been? What drives does it have?
One of the members here on the board that is on Lanier does Genset. He went by and looked at a 290SS for me a while back when I was looking at one. He said no problem adding a 5K set to it.

Bought in TX, kept at Lanier, selling at Allatoona. List four years ago was $152k (without tax or warranty). All options. Looks like Bravo I's, twins, ss props. Nice trailer. $80k ask (private sale no tax).
