I have a dealer maintained 2005 280DA w/ twin 5.0L Mercs w/ Bravo III's. I noticed this year that the starboard engine will run more revs than the port. I've inspected the props, drives, etc... I really think its just that the linkages aren't adjusted properly. I'm fairly mechanically inclined - and the linkages are right on top the engines - but is there a trick on how to do this!? I certainly don't want to make the situation worse. What adds a little insult to injurt was the $2500 commissioning charge from the dealer that supposedly included throttle linkage inspection/adjustment. I guess I'll let them slide a little because I'd imagine it would be tough to get them to match without a test drive!?

If you paid for it and they stated that they were going to do it you should expect it to be done and done correctly without regard to their access to water. If it were me no way would I let them slide. Good luck though

There are a number of things that can create a variance in WOT rpm. For instance, which motor has the working power steering pump? How far apart are the motors at WOT?
