I am replacing some carpet in my cabin and I need to remove the air duct channel cover that is located under the dinette. Has anyone ever had to remove this? It feels like it should just snap off but I am scared to force it.

Thanks
Jason

I'm not sure what your talking about but the font grill comesoff after sliding a few white tabs aside and then the metal grill will come out followed by the metalic filter then that will expose some screws that seat the whole face assembly into the seat...hope that helps...

This is the cover I am talking about. It covers the duct that runs to the forward cabinet vent. I can feel behind it but can not tell how it is attached. It feels like a seperate cover from the one that covers the same vent under the dinette seat.

I have not had this piece off.... but I would guess it is screwed in place like everything else... I have not yet found much on this boat that is just snapped on. Have you felt around in the carpet fibers for screw heads in the compartment under the forward dinette seat?
