280 SS Air/heat - water heater, gen location question

Hello,

Any members of the board have a 280SS with a factory (or aftermarket) AC/heat unit? If so, can you tell me where the factory mounted the unit ran the ducts/vents and placed the controller? I am considering adding an AC unit to our '99 and I would like to get as close to "factory stock" as possible. Also, some of these boats had a hot water heater and generator. Anyone ever see one with those options that can tell me where they were mounted (I am guessing in the engine compartment to the side of the engines).

I don't think I've ever seen a 280ss with a generator.

On the 2000, SeaRay installed the AC unit on the other side of the bulkhead behind the stairs. The vent goes next to the microwave and the controller pad directly below it. You could probably squeeze a water heater in, but I've never seen a generator on a 280 and I'd be impressed if someone pulled that off - particularly with twins. There's a lot more room in the single version of course... The starboard part of the shelf that goes around the fwd and sides of the ER is available. I wonder if cutting the bottom part of the panel and stbd aft cockpit drain would free enough space for a compact genny? I've looked at that space before and considered installing an additional battery bank.
