280 SD electronic problem

I have no functions at either switch pads. When turning batteries on both light up for a second then go out. I was told to change the forward EIM. I did and still nothing. I have an extra switch pad and changed them also with no luck. Could it be the EIM in the bilge? Just changing parts one at a time. Marinemax told me they just change everything if I bring it in. Any suggestions?

It was the EIM in the bilge. Replaced it and now all is working fine. Found a couple of things along the way to trouble shoot this problem to determine which one is the bad if this happens again. A horrible setup from SeaRay on these boats that used the electronic EIM's and switchpads. Can't beat the old toggle.
