New to the forum but think it is great resource.
I owned a 240 Sundancer and last year bought a 2006 280 which I LOVE - LOVE.

Question for other owners - if you want full sun while cruising how do you boot the canvas that attaches to the arch?

Does anyone have a picture that they can post - it seems to me that you need to remove everything and store but that seems odd.

The bimini forward of the arch can be booted with the boot I received when I bought the boat new (factory boot). The bimini aft of the arch (not the camper canvas) cannot be put into a boot and must be removed (4 pins). When it is time to have the canvas replaced on my 06 280 I will be looking into re-designing this (if possible) to allow the bimini aft of the arch to be booted as well. We do not normally run without the forward and aft bimini in place....... but it would be nice to be able to boot the thing when on the trailer.

Picture of the front and camper canvas rolled up.... after of arch bimini in place. This reply pertains to the factory canvas.

Thank you!
I was thinking that I was missing something really obvious but... obviously NOT!

I have the same boat as you.

We keep the camper top up most of the time. Talking to the owners of other 280 Sundancers, when they don’t have the camper top connected to the little bimini behind the arch the small bimini tents to lift and rattle when you are going fast (40 MPH+)

Really? mine fits really tight and doesn't budge.
