RE: SR 280 Bow Rider:

I could use some input on whether the 7.4L/310HP setup is too low end for this boat, to get and go. Sellers I've talked to naturally say the 350-375HP or twin 300HP are much better for this series boat(and that's what they have for sale btw)....I'm not Mr Holeshot or speed demon but want adequate power for any circumstance.

Once you get that boat loaded with 6 people, a big fat cooler, full fuel and water and all the rest of your of your gear you will be glad you had the extra HP. Besides the fact i have never heard of a 280 BR being OVER powerd.
