280 BR - Pros and Cons of the various options

Hello ClubSeaRay! I'm DJ your newest member and Im from the Philippines.

Im in the market for the best and largest BR available and have decided on the 280 BR. However, I have come to know that the 280 BR comes in several variants or models and with various options and accessories, i.e. type and number of engines as well as types of inner and outer units as well as props, and their combinations.

I would like to hear from all of your guys out there with regard to experiences, comments, suggestions and recommendations with regard to the above, to assist me in deciding which one to get.

I owned the closed bow version of this boat, the 280ss.

Unfortunately the discussion on the SS was very limited, and I'm guessing you will find the BR ever more so. There just aren't many of them around.

You may want to search for discussions on the SS. They are essentially the same boat.

It's too bad really. I loved my 280ss. It's a great boat.
