270 Amberjack camper back

I'm thinking about ways to make my 270 Amberjack more versatile and comfortable for my family. I think a camper back would be great for this - but Sea Ray never made one.

Has anyone had a customer camper back made for their Amberjack? Any pictures? Any tips / ideas for a good design / install?

yes I had one made. will send pics later from home computer. it made a big difference in entertaining a group.

the 260 has a camper back and is basically the same hull. this may work for the bows. i had mine custom made. use stainless, it is much stronger than aluminum. the picture is too large to post. how can i email it to you?

My wife has been after me to get a camper top but I have been putting her off because i like to fish and i think the top would get in my way.
Any thoughts on this?

I take the canvas and bows off if need be, or fold the bows forward and secure with bungee cords. Often leave the extended Bimini on for shade and fish off the swim platform or bow. Truly a great addition to my 270. Can sleep several more grand kids aboard
