268 Sundancer Trim Pump Replacement Question

Hi,
Replacing the pump, motor, bracket.
On my 1986 268, everything kind of stacks straight up, solenoids are near top of motor.
On my 1994 180 the bracket is wider and solenoids are on side of bracket.
The new sets I find online look like the 180 style.
I have plenty of room for the wider bracket in the 268, any reason newer style would not work?

I would think as long as the fittings are the same, you should be good to go.

There are adjustments in the valves to make sure you don't over pressurize the cylinders. I would read up on that before running the cylinders to full up or full down with the new pump.

Don't know why I didn't think of this before, would the set up be different since the 268 has twin outdrives?
