Hi,
For a 268 bump rail plastic insert anyone have the correct part number?
A Taylor item?

Ok I see it, have to buy from a retailer, $65 from iboats.com

Should I caulk on the top of the aluminum rail? and leave bottom open for drainage? Maybe seal bottom of bow area only? I know it has been questioned here on other posts mostly stated leave bottom with no caulk.
I had one area about 3' that had rivets come loose had some leakage there I sized them up one number all tight again.

I would not caulk any of it but if you feel the need to caulk something, do the top only. I had all kinds of issues because the bottom was caulked and the water got trapped behind the rub rail and eventually seeped between the deck/hull joint. If the screws and joints are sealed properly there should not be any need to caulk the top unless you think cosmetically, it looks good.
