260 Sundeck Head Compartment

Was checking out a new 2012 260 Sundeck at dealership a couple weeks ago and the latch on the door to the head was not catching - seems to be poorly designed. I returned last weekend and door still did not latch closed. Has anyone else had issues with this. I was surprised that the dealership would not have not have repaired this on a display model.

Have the same boat, same year. No issues with the latch. I wouldn't let something like that stop you from choosing this model. Undoubtedly it can be adjusted.

I had head latch trouble on my '08 240 Sundeck. Also the door that both secures the under helm storage would not secure as a wind block when the window was closed. There are several other oddities that made me wonder about Sea Ray quality escapements. All have been adjusted/repaired now but it made me wonder.
