260 sundeck 496 props

Honestly (and I'm not trying to give a sort answer), stick with the ones that came with it from the factory. Besides, B-3 props are like $1,500!!! The 260SD has tabs, right?

What are WOT RPM's with minimal gear, about a half tank of fuel and just you in it?

I agree...if you have the B-3's they will be expensive...You may be able to take them and have a cup added to the edge, I did that when I had a Four Winns 220(OMC drive), and it added about 2-3 mph.

First and for most fill out your signature so we know what kind of boat you have.

2nd if you have a B3 you don't go switching to any other than B3 props, they are pricey from the dealer but you can find them used slightly less expensively out there. I found a 2nd set, had them balanced and cupped and put the original's on the self for a rainy day. I am now 4 mph slower on top end, but plane out at 17-18 mph for cruising and better fuel mileage. If I want to go fast I can always put the originals back on. 49.5 on flat water 1/2 tank and the wife measured by gps. That was plenty fast enough for me in the boat. I have a ski that will hit 64 mph if I want a thrill.
