I had no water pressure to the internal system (sinks, head, etc.) the last week of the summer. Traced the lines back to the 28 gal tank. I found that the 17" pick-up tube broke off in the tank & the 90 dgree elbow broke off where the plastic pipe leads to the pump. Not sure why they broke, but such that it is. I replaced the pick-up pipe and reconnected to the pump. All I got out of the faucets was a sputtering of water. Replaced the pump but got the same reaction. I tried to bleed the air from the system, but that didn't help. I put the garden hose to the dock connector, and had water to all outlets. I just can't seem to get the pump to pick up water from the tank. Its labeled as self priming. The tank is half full of water right now since if it held anymore, I wouldn't be able to move it around. Any suggestions as to fix the problem? Thank you,

The sputtering water says air is somehow getting in the system. I'd go back & check (disconnect & reconnect) all your fittings. Make sure none of them are cross threaded or not fully inserted how they need to be. The smallest air leak can render the system useless.

When you did your repair, did you use the same size tube/fittings that came off?
When you bled the system did you do one faucet at a time? Or just open them all up & turn the system on?

If you've done that (checked all the fittings)I would disconnect the outflow side of the pump to make sure you have water there then move forward thru the system.

Im betting on a bad connection somewhere.
